Lily Phee

Singaporean pianist began her musical journey at the age of 5. She continued her education at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore under Prof. Rena Phua, and later pursued studies at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, where she graduated with distinction with a Master’s degree in the class of Prof. Andrzej Pikul. She is currently a postgraduate student.

She received an Honorable Mention at the 2nd International Karol Szymanowski Music Competition and made her debut with the Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Maurice Ravel’s Concerto in G major, as a laureate of the “Play with the Orchestra” competition organized by the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków. She also won 2nd Prize at the International Faust Zadra Piano Competition in Italy, and last year she was awarded the Oscar Macchioni Prize for the best interpretation of a work by Karol Szymanowski (Piano Sonata No. 2, Op. 21).

Among her notable awards in her home country are First Prizes at the Singapore International Youth Piano Competition and the Singapore International Classical Piano Competition, as well as Third Prizes at the National Piano and Violin Competition and at the Cristofori Piano Competition. Additionally, in 2018 she was honored with the title of “Yamaha Artist” as part of the “I Play Yamaha” initiative.

She has performed in Poland, Denmark, Russia, Hong Kong, and Thailand, giving recitals and taking part in competitions. Her significant competitive achievements also include First Prizes at the Isaac Albéniz Summer Music Festival in Camprodon, Spain, and at the International Piano Competition Recondite Armonie III in Grosseto, Italy.

She has also participated in masterclasses led by distinguished pianists such as Tamás Ungár, Robert Winter, Kenneth Hamilton, and Dina Parakhina.
